One of the first goth rock bands to emerge from England, The Cult built a devoted following throughout the 80s and early 90s. Some of their most successful hits were "Love Removal Machine," "She Sells Sanctuary," and "Revolution." Tensions within the band led to a 1995 breakup, but the band eventually reformed and released an album in 2001 called Beyond Good and Evil. The Cult has gained notoriety for enjoying the ‘sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll' lifestyle and its ever-changing lineup. The band is set to release a new album, Born Into This, in the near future.
